Sorry guys for being late!! Gosh!!! I know its not Tuesday and I am a day late to post this one… Forgive me, ok? Student mom here!!
Today we’re going to talk about the first ten books I reviewed. This topic was submitted by Rissi @ Finding Wonderland. And… I don’t know if the reviews were good or not. Read and decide for yourself. I have linked the posts with the titles!
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
I posted this review on goodreads way before I started blogging, to be exact it was 10th December, 2014! And all I wrote was ~
I loved that book.. Eagerly waiting for #PS I Still Love You. Can’t wait 😦
P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #2) by Jenny Han
I think this is the point I started leaving small lines on the review field, goodreads to remind me how I felt about them. This one is also a small (2 lines!!) review, that says ~
The book was good, but not as good as the first one. I loved the first one and had high hopes 😦
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
This too was way before I started properly reviewing books. Back on June, 2015 I read this one and fall in love with Paris again ~
Wooo!!! I loved Paris before but now I’m deep in love with it!!! After finishing the book, I felt like I know them all.. Josh, The opera singer.. The park.. Zero point!! Oh!!! Beautiful book! Beautiful confusion!! Beautiful misunderstanding!!! Love is in the air!!! ^_^
Missing You by Harlan Coben
I remember loving this book. Dated back in March, 2017, I wrote ~
Loved IT!!! Unpredictable and shocking some how 🙂
Mennonite in a Little Black Dress: A Memoir of Going Home by Rhoda Janzen
Another embarrassing short review from April, 2017. Quite recent :# okey -_-
It was a slow read tbh.. somehow I finished it. It has some good quotes even… but as I told… SLOW READ
Caraval (Caraval #1) by Stephanie Garber
I read Caraval in April, 2017 and did not write a proper review. IDK why. But here goes nothing ~
I really loved this book!! There were sometimes when I got frustrated with “Scarlett”, but from her history, it was quite expected…
Just LOVE IT ❤
The Fever by Megan Abbott
I remember buying this book cause I liked the synopsis. It sounded like a mystery, something I greatly enjoy. Here goes the small 1 line review :# ~
I am giving it a 3 because the writing style is excellent, but the story plot is sooooo…. I don’t know what to say, basically there was no PLOT
If you read it you will understand what I am trying to say 😐
It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover
This might be my first more than 2 lines review. I still remember the hollowness I felt after finishing this book. It made me cry and still is one of my most favorite one. The review says ~
“There is no such thing as bad people. We’re all just people who sometimes do bad things.” – Ryle
It’s a beautiful story about abusive relationship. Why people chose to stay or why they escape.. Why it is hard to leave despite being hurt?
I simply loved this CoHo book.. A huge 5 star and a kiss for this one CoHo!!!! ❤
The Immortals Trilogy by Alyson Noel
This one was my first blog review post. And I wrote quite a few paragraphs. It was more of a ranting post and I was so pissed of I ended up bashing the writer, which is against my rule so I deleted the review from my blog later on. So, here goes the small review that I shared on Goodreads, dated on April, 2017 ~
I am kind of MAD at the lead female character!!! Soo whinny!!! ARG!!! It hurts even to read -_-
Such a nice rich plot!! But such POOR execution
– Book 1
Every time I think that EVER can not be any dumber then this, she comes again and prove me wrong!!! I mean she almost appears as a mentally challenged person -__-
– Book 2
I refuse to waste another minute in this series -_-
I just read the first page and here she is like, “Demon will die the moment I touch him, should I tell him that?!!! NO!!!! Lets just wait for the things to become complicated enough!!!!” >.<
–Book 3 (Unfinished)
Huh! I waited till book 3 to DNF this series only because I bought this book and I refused to accept defeat -_- DUMB ME!! I did not understand the concept of “NOT MY CUP OF TEA” back than, so forgive me!
I still remember loving this book and this one is officially my first blog review post. It was a simple refreshing read and I throughly enjoyed it. Click on the title to see the blog post!
… AND thats it!! GOD that was EMBARRASSING!! :v
